"Gao" (translated as "Rice" in Vietnamese) is a magazine which focuses on depicting the beauty and the odd of Vietnamese's lifestyle and cuisine. Gao's design mission is to translate Viet exotic food culture into creative, fun illustrations that can cast an immediate impression on readers. The visual style is the combination of simple, flat design with hand-drawn doodles, along with a cute, pastel color palette.
